Meet Dr. Boris Godoy-Galvez

Dr. Boris Godoy-Galvez, known to his patients as Dr. Boris, is a native of the Kitchener-Waterloo area. He attended the University of Waterloo and received an Honours Bachelor of Science. Dr. Boris then graduated with honors from the University of Toronto, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. At his graduation, he was recognized with an award for his academic proficiency, involvement in extracurriculars, and service to underprivileged and disabled patients. This was highlighted by his volunteer work on dental mission trips in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.

Following graduation, Dr. Boris completed a hospital dental residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, where he was a frontline emergency dental provider at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsequently, Dr. Boris completed his specialty training and Master of Science degree in Periodontology at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Boris is an active member of numerous dental organizations, including the Ontario Dental Association, the Ontario Society of Periodontists, and the American Academy of Periodontology. He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, trail running, cooking, and going for walks. If you have a dog, please be prepared to show him photos.
